DESCRIPTION:
The Director will oversee and mentor staff in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data, facilitating improvement projects, assessing for and implementing risk reduction measures and assessing and coordinating activities related to achieving and maintaining ongoing regulatory compliance.

DESCRIPTION:
The Director will oversee and mentor staff in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data, facilitating improvement projects, assessing for and implementing risk reduction measures and assessing and coordinating activities related to achieving and maintaining ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Specific activities encompass surveillance, educating, providing leadership, and being accountable for related activities.
- Requires communication with and reporting of facility-specific information to corporate counterparts, public health and regulatory agencies as well as interaction with worker's compensation, in order to promote employee health and safety.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
- Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CIC) required.
- Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of clinical experience in Infection Prevention required.
- Minimum three (3) years leadership experience in Infection Prevention or in related field required, acute care experience preferred.
