LOCATION: Dallas, TX
FACILITY: 800+ bed acute care hospital
SALARY: $84K - $127K + $15K SIGNON+RELO(case by case)
REPORTS TO: AVP Women"s Services
DESCRIPTION
- The Nurse Manager for Mother/Baby Care Unit accepts responsibility for all department functions.
- 79.2 FTE’s
- Accepts responsibility for patient safety of the Postpartum and Newborn Nursery practice environments.
- Create Women’s Health specific initiatives and process improvement.
- Serve as liaison for hospital, community and other institutions.
- Organize / Supervise human and material resources.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BSN Required, Advanced degree preferred
- TX or Compact state RN License
- Minimum 5 Years experience, 2 years if Supervisor Experience
- Recent acute care leadership in mother baby unit REQUIRED, charge nurse not sufficient
- NRP Required
