SALARY: $130K - $160K + BONUS
DESCRIPTION:
The Director manages the overall operations of the Emergency Department. 20 beds. Approximately 35 FTEs. There is a supervisor, no manager.

DESCRIPTION:
The Director manages the overall operations of the Emergency Department. 20 beds. Approximately 35 FTEs. There is a supervisor, no manager.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Mentor/coach staff and preceptors
- Ensures regulatory requirements are met
- Develops budget planning, expense monitoring, and staffing productivity.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Current NC or Compact state RN License
- Minimum 5 year's experience in a ED setting required
- Minimum 3 year's management experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required, TNCC required within 12 months of hire.
